SOP on Sterilization of Garments
1.0 Objective : This SOP describes a procedure for the sterilization of garments.
2.0 Scope : This SOP applies to the sterilization of trousers, apron, nose mask, caps etc.
3.0 Responsibility : Quality Control Microbiologist to follow this procedure.
4.0 Materials & Equipment :
1. U.V. light cabinet box.
2. Apparels
5.0 Procedure:
5.01. Wrap the cleaned garments in paper sheets.
5.02. Place the wrapped garments in UV light cabinet box.
5.03. Switch on the UV light for 30 minutes.
